An Empirical Analysis of The Gender Division of Labour in Farm Households: Evidence from Bangladesh

This study analyseed the gender division of labour in Bangladeshi farm households in performing reproductive, productive and community managing activates.  It was based on data collected from 150 farm households in 2003. The findings revealed that the women in farm households were relatively more involved in reproductive roles like household chores, but less involved in productive and community managing activities compared to their husbands.
